Guar seed futures slipped by Rs. 15 to Rs. 6,152 per quintal on Friday as ample supplies from producing regions weighed on prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), August guar seed contracts declined 0.24% to Rs. 6,152 per quintal, with an open interest of 55,745 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to increased arrivals and abundant supplies, which continued to put pressure on guar seed prices.
