The Indian rupee strengthened by 20 paise to 95.30 against the US dollar in early trade on Friday, supported by sustained foreign fund inflows and easing global crude oil prices.
The domestic currency opened at 95.40 in the interbank foreign exchange market and further advanced to 95.30, compared to its previous closing level. However, gains were partially limited due to the continued strength of the US dollar, according to forex market participants.
