Cottonseed oil cake futures inched higher on Wednesday as traders built fresh positions amid rising demand for cattle feed.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the August delivery contract gained Rs 2, or 0.05%, to Rs 4,120 per quintal, with an open interest of 52,300 lots.
Market participants attributed the uptick in prices to fresh buying by traders, supported by improving demand in the cattle feed segment.
