Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty opened in the green on Wednesday, supported by improved global sentiment after U.S. President Donald Trump hinted at the possibility of a peace agreement with Iran.

At 9:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77272.58 up by 254.79 points or by 0.33 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24154 up by 121.2 points or by 0.5 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 77675.01 and intraday low of 77235.67 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24250.85 and intraday low of 24150.75

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4384.50,+3.42%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 4245.00,+2.76%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3292.95,+2.53%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 978.80,+2.12%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1822.40,+1.53%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3922.15,-3.30%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2300.65,-1.19%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 4325.60,-1.06%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 317.55,-0.55%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1176.45,-0.11%), among others.
