Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty rebounded on Wednesday, driven by strong buying interest in banking stocks and softer crude oil prices amid optimism over progress in US-Iran negotiations. Positive global market trends further boosted investor sentiment.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77887.53 up by 869.74 points or by 1.13 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24141.15 up by 108.35 points or by 0.45 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 77926.46 and intraday low of 76773.25 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24250.85 and intraday low of 23997.9

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 4504.10,+6.24%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 4319.05,+4.55%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2510.00,+3.19%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1294.55,+2.76%), State Bank of India (Rs. 1086.90,+2.56%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3995.25,-1.50%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1449.70,-0.99%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 317.65,-0.52%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1194.40,-0.51%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2316.90,-0.49%), among others.

Realty index was at 6356.23 up by 161.51 points or by 2.61%.
