The Nifty50 and Sensex traded higher on Wednesday, supported by positive global market cues after the US reportedly dropped its proposal to impose a 20% fee on transit through the Strait of Hormuz, easing concerns over global trade and energy supply disruptions.
At 12:28 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77530.27 up by 475.33 points or by 0.62 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24182.15 up by 130.1 points or by 0.54 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77646.27 and intraday low of 77072.53 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24220.35 and intraday low of 24069.05
