Indian benchmark indices traded lower in the afternoon session on Tuesday, with the Nifty hovering around the 24,500 mark as selling pressure persisted across most sectoral indices, except media and metal.
At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 78470.21 down by -168.82 points or by -0.21 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24511.3 down by -263 points or by -1.06 %.
