The benchmark indices, Nifty50 and Sensex, opened higher on Wednesday, buoyed by improved global risk sentiment after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent indicated that Washington and Tehran could soon reach a diplomatic agreement.
At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 78817.59 up by 388.64 points or by 0.5 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24621.4 up by 6.5 points or by 0.03 %.
