The Sensex and Nifty were trading higher on Wednesday, supported by the positive trend across global equity markets and a sharp decline in crude oil prices.
At 10:35 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77794.09 up by 138 points or by 0.18 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24302.4 down by -32.15 points or by -0.13 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77986.84 and intraday low of 77701.18 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24378.6 and intraday low of 24294.55
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 412.30,+2.56%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 330.20,+1.54%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 11701.80,+1.45%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1438.10,+1.06%), State Bank of India (Rs. 1057.10,+0.96%), among others.
