Indian benchmark indices reversed their gains and traded lower on Tuesday afternoon, with the Sensex falling nearly 250 points and the Nifty slipping below the 24,000 mark.
At 14:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 76712.19 down by -245.08 points or by -0.32 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23984.45 down by -95.95 points or by -0.4 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77231.87 and intraday low of 76656.12 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24143.15 and intraday low of 23952.55
