Saboo Sodium Chloro Limited (SSCL) has acquired around 26 acres of land in Chimur, near Tadoba National Park, for the development of a luxury resort project named Samskara Tadoba. This marks the company’s third land acquisition in 2025, following earlier purchases in Jawai and Udaipur as part of its expansion into the premium hospitality segment.
Samskara Tadoba is planned as a 5-star resort with up to 150 keys and will feature two signature restaurants, a bar, multiple swimming pools, a private lake, an observation tower, nature walks, luxury conferencing facilities, recreational zones, a spa, gymnasium and a dedicated kids’ zone. The resort is targeted to open to guests by 2027 and is expected to generate employment for up to 250 people.
The company said it is applying to the Government of Maharashtra for incentives under the state’s industrial and tourism promotion policies. Construction is expected to commence in the coming months, subject to receipt of all necessary approvals. SSCL has already initiated discussions with architectural, construction and consulting firms for the project.
With this development, Saboo Sodium Chloro now has a hospitality pipeline of over 850 keys across four locations—Jaipur, Udaipur, Jawai and Tadoba—and aims to emerge as a nationally leading luxury hotelier. The company also remains engaged in advanced-stage land acquisition discussions in other key tourist destinations such as Ranthambore, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Achrol.
