GHV Infra Projects Ltd has announced that its joint venture, GHV Infra Projects–BIL, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for riverbank protection works in Assam under a government-backed flood management initiative.
The contract has been awarded by the Water Resources Department Assam Water Centre and involves executing both underwater and above-water riverbank protection works in the Jorhat subproject, covering the districts of Sivasagar, Jorhat, and Golaghat. The project falls under the Asian Development Bank-supported Climate Resilient Brahmaputra Integrated Flood and Riverbank Erosion Risk Management Programme.
The domestic work contract is valued at approximately Rs 62 crore and is scheduled to be completed within 30 months.
The company clarified that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity, and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
