Copper prices on Thursday declined Rs 1.30 to Rs 1,221.80 per kg in futures trade, pressured by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), copper contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 1.30, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 1,221.80 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 203 lots.
Traders said weak demand from consuming industries in the domestic market weighed on copper prices in futures trading.
