Aluminium prices edged lower on Tuesday as subdued demand in the spot market led traders to cut back positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, June delivery contracts declined by Rs 1.10, or 0.3%, to Rs 370.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 20 lots.
Analysts said the dip was largely due to reduced demand from consuming industries, prompting participants to trim their exposure.
