The Sensex and Nifty50 bounced back after a two-day decline, mirroring gains in global equity markets as Brent crude prices softened following signals from US President Donald Trump suggesting a possible end to the war.

At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77812.84 up by 246.68 points or by 0.32 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24159.8 up by 131.75 points or by 0.55 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 78526.25 and intraday low of 77777.51 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24303.8 and intraday low of 24125.15
